A Chicago native and forever Cubs fan, Roger has been at the helm of Pondel Wilkinson for more than two decades. He previously worked in C-suite communications roles for several large publicly traded corporations, and in his early career, was a reporter with the San Jose Mercury News.
Roger is a card-carrying member of the CFA Institute, the National Investor Relations Institute and the Public Relations Society of America. He also was a national board member of the Association for Corporate Growth but gave up that role in favor of having more time for playing congas and bongos and for photographing cool street art in cities around the world.
Roger earned a bachelor’s degree from the School of Journalism & Mass Communications at California State University-San Jose and received the prestigious national Pacemaker college journalism award, personally presented by late President Ronald Reagan. He is sometimes a comedic, but always cogent, guest speaker and panelist on IR and strategic PR issues.
